Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes July 11, 2007
MEMBERS PRESENT: William Keohan, Michael Main, David Peck, Marc Betti,  A. Wendy Longo and Robert Richard

ABSENT MEMBER: Mr. Conner

Mrs. Longo called the meeting to order.  

CASE NO. 3432– WOOD BUILDERS – LITTLE SANDY POND ROAD

Sitting: William Keohan, David Peck, A. Wendy Longo, Robert Richard, and Michael Main.

Mr. Richard read the legal advertisement into the record and the letter from Randy Parker requesting a continuance so a new advertisement could be done.

Mr. Main made a motion to continue Case No. 3432 to August 1, 2007 @ 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Peck seconded.

Unanimously continued.


CASE NO. 3433 – FRANK ARCHIBALD – WOOD STREET

Sitting: William Keohan, David Peck, Robert Richard, A. Wendy Longo, and Marc Betti.

Mr. Richard read the legal advertisement into the record.

Mr. Archibald said that he would put the parking in even though he believed that he only needed to provide additional parking for the 3rd floor unit because the building was constructed prior to zoning and was grandfathered.

Mr. Richard asked the Building Commissioner if parking needed to be brought up to today’s by-law standards.

Mr. Manfredi said that the petitioner only needed to provide additional parking for the 3rd floor unit.

A very long discussion ensued regarding the parking.

No public comment was offered in favor.

Public comment offered in opposition.

Another long discussion ensued between the Board members regarding parking.

Hearing closed.

VOTE:

Mr. Richard made a motion to deny.

Mr. Peck seconded.

Unanimously denied.

No further business came before the Board.
